Steel wires are drawn out for strength, then in a variety of constructions are stranded together forming a twisted cable that has great strength to size ratios. The material is galvanized for rust and corrosion protection.

7x7 Construction
Seven strands of seven wires are preformed then twisted together for a tough, hard working cable construction. Used in applications where abrasion is a factor and flexibility can be secondary.
